Trend: Sorbet Plaids

Resort 2019 has been rather playful with colourful stripes, checks and plaids being created by some of my favourite designers. It exudes a unique concept of mix ‘n’ match, across varying fabrications other than the traditional twilled woolen cloth .

Many contemporary brands have embraced sorbet coloured plaids as we transition from Summer into Autumn. Not to mention the inspiring plaid ensembles which were seen at the latest fashion weeks across Northern Europe this past month.

This Resort trend has true a sense of playfulness and uninhibited style, encouraging us simple folk to break out of our moulds and add even just a little hint of sorbet checks.
